Capital Markets (VP)

Your mission is to help realise the dreams of SMEs by bringing them solutions from Capital Markets, and wow Capital Providers with access to rewarding and purposeful investments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop multiple funding channels and strategies to onboard Accredited, Professional and Institutional Investors.

  • Be responsible for product roadmap definition and execution for the Institutional Investor product portfolio.

  • Grow the investments from our institutional clients by providing tools and processes to bring new investors into the MoolahSense platform.

  • Understand data and reporting requirements and work with engineering and data teams to deliver customised data sets to our clients to help them measure and analyse the performance of their portfolio.

  • Ensure frequent and clear communication with internal (Business Financing, Credit Risk, Operations) and external stakeholders.

  • Help shaping the product development process as the business continues to grow.

  • Lead the sourcing and origination of new trades and investors.

  • Work on Capital Markets transactions across all funding channels

  • Devise and implement innovative global fundraising strategies 

  • Source and spearhead marketing efforts alongside appointed brokers and placement agents

Requirements 

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in an Investment Bank, Private Bank or Asset Manager with Fixed Income, Structured Credit and Funds knowledge

  • Strong interest in Capital Markets, financial services and investment products.

  • Experience working in B2B marketplace products preferred

  • Confident and an Excellent Communicator (both verbal and written)​​

Product Management, Associate

The Product Management team works closely with the business and  our engineers to guide products from conception to launch. As part of the Product Management team, you bridge the technical and business worlds as you design services that our customers love. You'll work with colleagues from Engineering, Growth, Credit and Finance, to name just a few. You have a bias toward action and can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development at MoolahSense speed. As a Product Management Associate, you will be part of shaping MoolahSense's next moonshot.

You will be responsible for developing solutions and implementing requirements to support the growth of MoolahSense worldwide. This includes launching products and working closely with our engineering and other product areas to define the right structure to support our products.

With eyes focused squarely on the future, our team works closely with creative and prolific engineers to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting and tailoring our solutions to all the markets where MoolahSense is in and/or will be conquering.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and own the entire product lifecycle from ideation, business impact analysis, requirements development, prioritization, coordination of resources, development, testing and launch, focusing on acquisition, retention, and engagement

  • Write product requirements and user stories, and communicate those effectively across teams

  • Use data-driven approaches to make decisions and continuously improve the product

  • Identify market opportunities and define product vision and strategy with Lead PM.

  • Ensuring that layout, features, workflows and business processes deliver the expected business benefit

  • Assist with data extraction, business analytics and processing to generate useful business intelligence dashboards for different departments

  • Engage closely with the engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable implementation schedule.

  • Work with the marketing, business and client success teams to ensure product features are well communicated

Requirements

Client Success, Associate

MoolahSense is looking for Client Success Rockstars who are excited to work hand-in-hand with our clients to achieve their goals. You will be the trusted and main go-to person for all clients with an intimate understanding of their needs and what it takes for them to succeed with us.

Your day-to-day is a mix of proactive and reactive work where you will find in no time that no two clients are the same. You will really understand the challenges that our clients face and how to solve for and help them succeed in this role and be part of the team that has the best and broadest product knowledge in the entire company, bar none!

Responsibilities

  • Help customers troubleshoot and navigate through processes regarding our platform or their investments in an articulate way over the phone or ticketing system.

  • Use your resourcefulness to team up with internal departments to provide information for our clients that lead to their success

  • Learn, establish, improve and maintain a streamlined ticketing support and resolution process.

  • Consolidate feedback and discuss client education initiatives with Marketing

  • Initiate feature introduction calls and emails to different segments of clients with Marketing

Data Science, Associate

You're a wizard who is good with numbers! You disdain inefficiency and you're obsessed with fresh insights. The tools are in your code. You manipulate Excel and other statistical tools like R, Python and SQL with ease. Here's a training ground to make science out of data.

You will be working closely with the team in all areas in Business Financing, Marketing, Credit and Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Collect data from different business functions and track relevant metrics related to performance and efficiency

  • Design, prepare and review reports on the business performance across functions, and gather insights based on data analytics.

  • Understand database schema to identify and extract essential data to create value-added reports.

  • Develop models using statistics and business rules to identify historical trends and predict future outlook.

  • Perform testing and validation of models using statistical methods to establish confidence levels.

  • Perform market research and collect external data points to augment data analysis.

  • Manage and maintain existing dashboards / reports and develop new dashboards / reports for business decisions with a strong focus on business intelligence reports for customers.

Finance Operations, Associate

MoolahSense is looking for Rockstars to join our Financial Operations who are the backbone of the very services that we provide. You will be the one of the main people who polices each and every transaction that happens on our platform and ensure accuracy in all we do!

Responsibilities

  • Performs daily reconciliations, deciphering basic exceptions between systems, clients, institutions, etc.

  • Processes client accounts. Focus is on learning the reconciliation process. Deciphers basic exceptions and researches why exceptions exist. Enters reconciliation data and ensures proper aging.

  • Communicates simple break reports to internal groups within the firm. Monitors resolution. Leverages a basic understanding of the business and understanding of exceptions to support basic communications and make adjustments correctly.

  • Executes standard, scheduled transactions/processes utilizing standard procedures such as Repayments, Fund Transfers, Adhoc Investment launch activities.

  • Assists in daily, weekly and monthly reporting using an understanding of transaction record and knowledge of basic accounting.

  • Maintains documentation and support for any workflow changes, regulatory, transfer and Internal/External Audit requests.

  • Ability to learn processes and propose automation initiatives to improve efficiency.
